Laney came with her daughter, Soleille and other 3 doelings from Pittsburgh, PA in our minivan during the Northern trip in 2017. She is very inquisitive and happy with people around but quite laid back personality. Very long neck, nice roman nose, long ears. Wonderful on the milking stand. Soft teats. Her dam, Green Gables CB Lucinda*P gave 9 # of milk a day. Laney peeked milking at 5.32lbs as a FF.
Here is Green Gables website of her two full sisters' udder pictures. http://www.greengablesmininubians.com/Does/Luna.htm
Laney had 10.3 lb of milk production at her peak in 2018. Unfortunately, we could not finish the milk testing in 2018, we could not give her a milk star.
CAE, TB, Brucellosis. G6S normal by test

2020 kidding record:
Bred to GTO Ranch Starbuck (F3) on 11/15/2019
Due: 04/08/2020
Kidded: 04/15/2020
Ttriplets
Signs:
@ 149th day, 04/12 at morning chore, her udder is more filled and harder.
@ 11:40 am I think she is experiencing the early labor. standing still near the corner and changing positions. Still looks more irritated and moving around and eating hay in between.
@ 150th day, 04/13 Laney did not eat that much of grains like she had been.
@4/15/2020: 6:55 am (152 day)
She started with white string of goo. Not drinking any water anymore. After checking her inside, her cervix was open but no babies behind it. Decided to let Laney out to the herd during the nice sunny morning and get fresh air + friendship.
@2:00 pm, I went to check on her. She was bothered by ladies in the herd. One of the ladies was acting like a buck. I checked her and she started having yellow string of goo. She was head butting everyone who was trying to mount on her. So brought her back to the kidding pen which was cleaned with fresh wood shavings.
@2:27 pm I saw 2 serious contractions between eating hay.
@3:00 pm Decided to go inside again and check. Still the same as this morning. More contractions. Longer and more often.
Between contractions, she paws the ground, grinds her teeth. Standing still during the contraction.
@3:24 pm Leaning her head towards the wall during the contraction. She tends to be under the heatlamp.
@6:30 pm: I went inside of Laney again after my milking chore. I was able to feel the bubble and a hard thing right behind the cervix.
@6:45 pm: Big goo came out while she was posing like she was weeing.
@7:00 pm: Still no improvement. I started having a feeling that she is having a problem with positioning with her babies in the right places. it's been too long in the same kind of level of labor. There must be something is quite not right.
@7:05 pm: We decided to go inside to reposition the baby (babies). We found out that there were two babies tangled together and placed almost the same place. We had a hard time placing the right head and the right front legs to grub and help coming out.
@7:16 pm: First baby girl's head came out but could not get her feet. Struggled a while but finally we got her head and her frond feet to hold on to. By then Laney was too exhausted to push. We encouraged her to push so we could pull her baby. It took several attempt then finally the baby girl was able to come out. Fortunately, the goo around her was not smeared by feces. So she was not stressed. A doeling, 6 lb M17
@ 7:30 pm: The next push started. This was a boy. 7 Lb M18 this was the baby that tangled with the first one.
According to the US, we were told that Laney was expecting 2 babies. But because Laney is so deep, There are some areas that US cannot see through. Obviously, one more was hiding.
@ 7:45 pm: Laney suddenly started pushing again. The third one came from the head & feet. A doeling, 8Lb M19
