Mini Nubians are hybrid breed. They are the cross from Anglo Nubian & Nigerian Dwarf goats. That means they have different stages of looks depending on the generations and the percentages from Anglo Nubian and Nigerian Dwarf goats. The most significant parts of breed characters of Mini Nubians are their long ears and noses.
When we register Mini Nubians, we need to show the stages of their ears and nose.
The tricky thing is sometimes babies were born with a little short ears but while growing up, their ears also grow long. It also happens the other way around. We found that the genetics works with this part. This is why I like to wait a little while before registering our baby goats.
I will introduce the ear improvement through 3 generations at the end.
