@Morning: nothing has changed. Her ligaments are loose but her udder has not filled up much.
@ the evening chore time: same as morning
@9:35 pm: before going to bed, I checked barn camera and saw her laying down and kind of pushing?
@9:40 pm : I saw through the barn camera, in #4, Leia laying down and pushing. Sometimes, pregnant goats lay down snd casually push because it’s uncomfortable so I thought that’s what was happening but she kept pushing. I put the sound on and she was making a real pushing sound. I immediately put cloths on and went to #4 thinking about bringing her to the kidding pen. When I turned the barn light on, I heard real cry for pushing so I ran inside as soon as possible. Saw a half came out baby. At first, I could not see front or back. But turned out to be the head was our and half of the body was out. I helped her to bring the baby out. Got paper towel from #3 and wiped the baby. 6# boy.
All other goats in #4 were so excited what was going on. Called Mike what’s happening and asked to bring towels. Thinking that she should have a little time before the second one is out, Decided to bring Leia to the kidding pen. Mike came, took Leia, I took the baby to the kidding pen.
While wiping and cleaning this boy we saw a foot coming out without Leia pushing. Then saw two feet. Still pretty casual, we decided to check what was going on. When we went in, Leia started pushing and the baby came out in the correct position smoothly. 5.15# girl.
Both babies were laid back after birth for a while and not interested in nursing. We waited for a while. Then decided to help them . Leia was a little confused mom.
