Colette received so many traits from her dam, Lulu. Her face and body shape are very much "mini-me." Colette inherited her dam and sire's great milk line and we are looking forward to seeing her more improved mammary department and her future kids. Her dam's sire's line has one of my favorite udders' owner, Green Gables SS Hershery's Bliss *P.
Her sire's dam is our Dolly, Grape Creeks Dolcetta. She is a big milker and VERY soft teats and has very large orifice.
We did not breed her during 2019 winter. We are planning to breed her this Autumn to Boruto hoping to see longer body, longer ears and good breed character while keeping up her great mammary department.

Colette does not look like anytime to kid. She is carrying very high, no ligaments lost, and no goos coming out.
01/03/2021
We decided to let her out with everyone else in the field so she can exercise during the day. Only in the evening, she gathers with other ladies in #4.
01/04/2021
I saw Colette running top speed in the field competing with other ladies. It's great that she can stretch her body and let the babies to move into the position.
01/05/2021
8:30 am- Her ligaments were at least half way gone. Her udder was not full but fuller. She finally started carrying her baby slightly lower but no dimples yet. She finally started having a thin whitish goo coming out. If she moves forward this pace, she could give birth tonight or tomorrow.
1:20 pm - Noticed Colette was not in the field with everyone. So we went to look for her. She was alone in the $4 pen laying down but when we went in there, she got up. I checked her ligaments and udder was fuller (not as full as other ladies). She was carrying lower than this morning. I could see some dimples next to her spines. Thin goo was still coming out. We decided to move her to the kidding pen just in case. My prediction as she might kid tonight or early tomorrow morning depending on how her babies lined up inside.
Around 2:20 pm - We think she started getting in labor around this time. She gave birth to a buckling (N3) 6.5 Lb
Around 2:45 pm - We think she gave birth to the second baby around this time (because the baby#2 was still wet when we found her.) (N4) 6Lb
3:28 pm - When we went in to check on the kidding pen, these 2 babies were already walking around. Baby #1 was already completely dried and almost hopping. Needed to check the weight and finish the umbilical cords.
