When I first saw Queen on the photo, it was love at the first sight. I feel I am so lucky to have her at our farm. She is funny, quiet, healthy, famous, beautiful, big but small... I can express so many things about her! She is THE QUEEN.
She was even on the local classic radio station, KVOD! We will share that funny story with photos.
She already won 2 grand champions at V shows and need 1 more leg. He also won MHMM live show in 2019 for Grand Champion and the Best Udder for both MDGA and TMGR.

From Green Eggers Farm:
Queen Latifah has 2 Grand Championship Legs and only needs 1 more to be a Finished Champion. With her maturing as well as she is we see a good opportunity for someone to also help earn her a Milk Star.
COMMENT FROM 2017 summer V show
Judge: Lavinia Allen
I placed the Mini Nubian Sr Doe as Best Doe in Show.
She has the stronger straighter topline with better blending of her neck into the withers, wider in the loin, good width in her chest floor and between
the hocks with good angulation of the rear legs when viewed from the side and rear, a moderate brisket and her shoulders are flatter when viewed from the top.
Judge: Lavinia AllenI placed the Mini Nubian Sr Milking Doe Champion as the 3 year old Doe for her General Appearance.
She has a long lean neck, well extended brisket, wide chine and loin uphill to her withers,
smooth blending of the loin into her rump which is almost level with her back.
Judge: Lavinia Allen1. Entry B over Entry E, this doe caught my eye for her overall General Appearance and dairy character in this class of SR does. She shows clear dairy wedges from all sides, has a long level topline with a slight slope to the rump and higher withers.
Judge: Katie Wolf Close top pair but B places over A for general appearance, with greater length of body and levelness from hips to pins. In body capacity, she is wider and deeper into the chest floor.

Due date: 04/30/2021 (145th day)
Kidded: 05/0-/2021 (15- day)
05/03
Because of the raining, we brought Queen to the kidding pen.
05/04
Went in to check where she was. Her cervix was still tight and not ready at all.
05/05
Still not happening so we decided let her walk around morning and evening to enjoy the fresh air. She even ran to eat more weeds, bushes, and roses.
05/06
In the afternoon, she went out in the field to be with her friends. She was very happy to be with them but it started showing that she was not very comfortable. She was laying down and relaxing more. By the evening chore, she was in the corner of the back of loafing shed laying down and sleeping. Brought her back to the kidding pen. She is not active. I think I saw some contractions. No goo yet.
@9:00
She went to sleep for a while but looked extremely uncomfortable. Every now and then she bleat softly.
@10:00
She stands looking towards the wall. Making some noises.
@10:08
She sat down and started pushing. by @10:11, saw a one back leg sticking out, Queens was screaming while pushing. Helped pulling and the bottom came out. A girl. 5.5 Lb. N28
About 10 minutes later, another bubble came out and pushing. One front leg and head in a bubble. the sac was very strong to break it after coming out. A girl. 5.6Lb. N29
**N29 baby was very lethargic from the beginning. She was not interested in getting up nor nursing. Checking her with molasses with cayenne pepper if she can suck. She could but not interested so much. Checked her temperature. Turned out to be 96.6F. Brought her into the house with a cooler, Hair dryer. Heating blanket. towels. Making a little dome for her to stay in the warm air with heating blanket and hair dryer blowing. Letting her suck a drop of colostrum though fingers. We also gave a drop of nutri Drench twice to keep up her energy while recovering her temperature. She became 102.3. We kept her int he brooder. She started panting. So checked her temperature again. She was 105. Took her out. let her check if she could stand up. She was very wobbly but able to keep standing for a long time. After standing, we offered her a bottle of colostrum from Queen. It;'s extremely thick. She drank about 6 oz vigorously. It's already 1 am. We decided to take her back to Queen and see how she and Queen can do over night. She was welcomed by Queen and N28. She nursed from Queen twice with our help.

Expecting 1 baby +
Due date: 02/19/2020 (145th day)
Kidded: 02/27/2020 (153rd day)
1 blue eyed doeling Still-birth
We really don't know what happened. She was not showing any signs before our bed time. We have checked on the barn camera how she was doing during the night was well. In an early morning, we saw she was sitting next to something on the barn camera. I went out and saw the dead doeling covered with wood shavings. Queen looked very calm.
Next year, because of her size, we will let her being active as long as she can until right before the actual active labor starts.

Bred to Blackberry's Ol Jolly Saint Nick (F4): 09/20/2018
Due: 02/17/2019 (150 day)
Kidded: 02/20/2019 153rd day 2 doelings L5: 6.8Lb, L6:7Lb
-02/18 Mon. Started carrying lower. More often to wee & poo.
@2:30 Started carrying her tail lower but still eating.
-02/20
@10:31 Acting like having constructions
@12:30 thin goo came out
@4:30 thin goo came out again
@4:46 Lots of scratching the ground, moving clockwise, then stop for contractions. Squat but nothing came out. Then pushing outside so brought her to kidding pen
As soon as she arrived at heated kidding pen in the garage, already started pushing hard and saw 2 feed & tiny nose.
With a couple of extra big pushes & my help with grabbing feet, L5 6.8 Lb doeling with silver spots came out.
While cleaning quickly 2 water bubbles came out hanging. Then she started pushing. With a couple of big pushes, L6 7Lb doeling with copper moonspots came out naturally. Queen enjoyed all the molasses water.
